Miccolis Spa is pleased to announce its participation in the CERES Circular Economy Italian Hackathon Week, scheduled from December 12 to 18, 2025 at the Bari Polytechnic University and online through the CERES Hub platform. The initiative, supported by BINP - Boosting Innovation in Poliba, represents a unique opportunity for Italian and European students, researchers and young professionals to confront real challenges related to sustainability and the circular economy.
Miccolis challenge: “from public transportation to active citizenship.”.
At the Hackathon, Miccolis Spa issues an ambitious challenge central to the future of sustainable mobility:
“How can we bring more people closer to public transport and make them protagonists of circularity? How can we turn passive users into active, aware and involved citizens?”
The goal of the challenge is to stimulate the development of tools, ideas and solutions capable of:
- Increase the use of public transportation;
- Promote awareness of circular economy principles;
- Have a positive impact on the land and the environment;
- Introduce tools, ideas or solutions that enable people to participate in sustainability in a simple and direct way.
Miccolis calls for identifying proposals that can become a replicable model across the Miccolis network, and potentially scalable nationwide, contributing to increasingly efficient, inclusive and circular mobility.
Hackathon Week will offer participants a week of intensive work, dedicated mentoring and the opportunity to engage with Italian and European companies engaged in sustainable innovation sectors.
All participants will receive the CERES Certificate, while the best projects will have access to the European phase of the program and dedicated prizes.
With this initiative, Miccolis Spa confirms its commitment to fostering the ecological transition, promoting a more responsible mobility culture and encouraging the active contribution of new generations.
