Second meeting with businesses as part of the Banking Academy's Road to Social Change program at UniCredit: focus on human capital and sustainable transition. In the afternoon of Nov. 27, 2025, in the Event Hall of the New Rectorate of the Polytechnic University of Bari, Miccolis Spa took part in the second Talk/Round Table with local businesses sponsored by UniCredit's Banking Academy as part of the “Road to Social Change” series of meetings. Central theme of the meeting: “New paradigms for the management and enhancement of human capital in enterprises engaged in sustainable transition.”.
The event was attended by students, corporate and institutional representatives in a lively context of discussion and training dedicated to evolutionary models of human resource management. Miccolis brought its concrete contribution as an innovative operator in the public transport sector, recounting strategies and actions aimed at integrating ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) principles as a key element of its corporate mission.
«Sustainability cannot be separated from people's involvement, which is why we warmly welcomed the invitation of UniCredit's Banking Academy and the Polytechnic University of Bari,” stressed Eng. Noemi Manella, ESG Manager at Miccolis, who spoke to explain the company's initiatives to integrate employee empowerment into the broader sustainable transition journey. «Living the sustainable transition also means investing in our internal resources, fostering development, awareness and participation throughout the company.»
The meeting, moderated by Prof. Claudio Sassanelli, also saw the contribution of UniCredit Region Sud and Exprivia Spa, drawing a picture rich in stimuli and complementary visions. The cross-sector dialogue proved invaluable both for the students, who are called upon to face the challenges of the world of work, and for the professionals themselves, fostering the sharing of best practices and the adoption of innovative approaches in the local business context.
“The enthusiasm and active participation of the students confirm to us that dialogue with the younger generation and educational institutions is essential to promote sustainable growth, not only environmentally but also socially and economically, for the area,” comments Miccolis Management.
Miccolis thus renews its commitment to be a protagonist of change, aware that sustainable transition involves every aspect of the enterprise and that the enhancement of human capital is the real engine for lasting and responsible development.
