Ecologica SpA company based in Taranto which operates in port activities, collection, transport and disposal of industrial, special, hazardous and non-hazardous waste; chemical and hydrodynamic washing; remediation; transport for third parties; industrial cleaning; industrial vehicle hire; waste treatment. For the reclamation of tanks it makes use of an automatic system, the "Crude Oil Washing" (COW), highly flexible and with minimal environmental impact (ATEX Directive), with continuous gas monitoring, which 98% almost guarantees the recovery of hydrocarbons. Over thirty years of experience in Italy is accompanied by an increasingly global know-how and a continuous training program for highly qualified personnel (engineers, chemical experts, skilled workers) mainly employed in chemical and iron and steel plants, refineries and power stations thermoelectric. It is the only multi-material selection plant affiliated with the various CONAI supply chain consortia (Comieco, Corepla, Coreve, Cial, Ricrea) of the Province of Taranto. In fact, almost all the differentiated waste collection of the Province of Taranto and of many municipalities in the Provinces of Bari, Brindisi and Matera are conveyed here. Rail & Recycling Ltd., a company incorporated in March 2022 authorized, by Managerial Determination issued by the Metropolitan City of Bari No. 3001 dated 06/8/2022, to carry out disposal and recovery of special hazardous and non-hazardous waste, reclamation and demolition of railway rolling stock consisting of goods or waste, reclamation of other goods/waste containing asbestos or mineral wool, and maintenance and reconditioning of railway rolling stock.
